∘ Olga Pachulia ∘ THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLE ON CONFLICT MANAGEMENT IN THE CONDITIONS OF ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES Summary The conflict source can be contradictions towards changes. People often contradict changes beacause they perceive it as a threat. Perception, individuality and sutures effect on changes contradiction. Unknown situations causes different reaction of people, included panic and strong stress. First reaction on changes of most people is misunderstanding and non accapting the novelty, which is followed step by step adaptations stage of idea, sometimes even full non eccaptance, strong contradictions and even decomposition of the process. The conflict can be destructive for the first glance and constractive in the other point of view, it can play negative role in the stage of development in some circumstances and pozitive role in another stage and another situation. In order to handle conflicts effectively in the conditions of organizational changes, the following are essential to do: communication with employee, explanations, that organization changes, employee role in dicition making is important. The more people are in the dicition making process the more people want to make disitions of changes. Lidership style selection is also important in concrete situation by taking into consideration the formation level of the collective and the tasks facing them. |
